Chairman
As part of their succession plans, an independent and family-owned consumer organisation wished to appoint a Non-Executive Chairman. Following an in-depth review of client requirements, an extensive search took advantage of our network of clients and candidates in the consumer sector. A shortlist of candidates was presented to the client and a successful appointment followed.

Non-Executive Directors
Our client is one of the UK's leading regional building societies. As part of the Society's succession plans, they wished to appoint two Non-Executive Directors to complement the Board composition.
One appointee was required to have appropriate financial qualifications and experience, to enable them to Chair the Audit Committee. The other appointee would come from a business background, having experience of supplying goods or services to consumers, perhaps in an e-commerce or retail environment.
An extensive search for relevant candidates was undertaken and following an in-depth interview programme, two successful candidates were appointed. This successful assignment followed a number of previously successful appointments over a number of years for this client.

Non-Executive Director
A leading UK FTSE 250 plc organisation wanted to appoint a new Non-Executive director to join their Board. Our client's preference was to appoint someone with both finance and general management experience in order to Chair the Audit Committee and bring greater balance to their current Board structure.
We drew on our considerable intellectual property, experience and network, as well as undertaking fresh desk research. Following an in-depth Board interview process, the successful candidate was appointed and has subsequently become Chairman of the Board.

Non-Executive Director
Our client, an Investment Trust Company, wished to appoint a high-calibre Non-Executive Director, who would add balance and complement their existing board. Using our wide-ranging network of contacts, we undertook an extensive search of senior executives with UK and European Private Equity experience. The result was a very strong shortlist of candidates and two Non-Executive Director appointments were made.
