“Fletcher Jones helped us fill two hugely important roles: a Finance Director and an IT Director.  We were delighted with the way that they tackled the assignments, the background work they did and the high calibre of the candidates presented.  Fletcher Jones recognised the importance not only of the candidates’ skill-sets but how those individuals might fit into the Artemis culture.  In each case, the assignments led to successful appointments.”

Financial Services

Fletcher Jones has substantial knowledge and experience of the Financial Services sector and has undertaken many assignments across a range of disciplines.

Below is a small selection of case studies highlighting our experience:

Head of Corporate Banking

Our client, a leading banking organisation with offices across UK and Europe, was seeking a Head of Corporate Banking for their new Leeds offices. The role was to develop and maintain a successful Corporate Banking business in the North East, targeting companies with a turnover of £50million plus. The successful appointee would be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships whilst contributing strategically towards the development of the UK-wide corporate banking business.

Our client wanted an experienced Corporate Banker from within the North East of England's financial community. A good professional reputation, effective business development, client relationship and delivery skills were a must. Given these criteria, we undertook an extensive search of the UK banking community to present a high calibre shortlist of candidates. Following detailed interviews and given the high calibre of the candidates, two candidates were, in fact, appointed, moving forward the client’s succession planning strategy.

Head of Client Servicing

Our client, a leading independent asset manager was seeking a Head of Client Servicing for their Head Office. This strategic appointment would have a direct impact on client reporting, requiring hands-on input; therefore, the ideal candidate would be an ambitious, results driven self starter, with at least 10 years' experience as a client services specialist. In addition it was essential that the candidate be able to communicate effectively with clients and other third parties and be able to deal quickly and effectively with issues arising.

As part of a composite recruitment strategy, an extensive search was conducted with a number of highly targeted direct and discreet approaches being made by Fletcher Jones as well as an advertisement being placed in a leading national publication. Following this process and an extensive interview programme, the successful candidate was appointed.
